Cards For Soldiers

It is time to make Mothers Day cards to send to our Soldiers so that they have cards to send home to the mom's in their lives. I only have 6 done right now and they are all the same. Here is the first and there will be many more to come. If you don't know about Cards for Soldiers and are interested in helping please email me and I will be happy to give you details.



This is a card for someone who may not have a mom to send to but has a special person in their life that they would like to recognize on that special day.

WoooHooo! I got even more cards done today. This will be it for today though the family thinks they need to eat LOL!

This one is for the mom who isn't a flowery type mom.

High on the Hog!

Yesterday Curt was planning to BBQ some ribs and I was going to bake a ham so the boys would have lunch meat. Well since we live in a wind tunnel the BBQ idea wasn't going to work. We decided to put it all in the oven. When I ask Curt what people would think if we cooked 20+ pounds of pork in the oven in one day he said "They will think it is a Porka - Palooza" right then I knew I had to scrapbook the event. The page isn't quite done I am waiting on some pigs that a wonderful friend of mine cut for me but I thought I would go ahead and share.



I really can not believe I spent 5 hours on this silly LO but I had a ton of fun doing it. Since it was Curts idea I had him to do journaling.

Items used: Bazzil CS, Cats Eye chalks in Chestnut Roan and Dark Brown, mini brads embossed with black embossing powder, UTEE on the title, Misc red and white papers. Thanks for looking!

Amarri Layout

Here is another LO I did. I have the pictures picked but I haven't printed them yet. My printer is out of ink and I don't like Curts. LOL.

I don't know if you can tell in the picture but the black paper is textured. It is soo cool.

The hearts have one layer of UTEE on them. They have a real rough texture to them.

Amarri has his first vet appointment on Thursday and I am already working on the LO for that. I will also be posting my Porka - Palooza LO soon. I bet that has you guessing huh? LOL It was all Curts idea.
