Robby Gordon!

Well today was day 2 of the Laughlin SCORE race and Robby Gordon won by an impressive amount. Today was super windy so most of my pictures didn't turn out. Lucky for me Curt was able to record Robby doing his signature donuts. There was so much dust and dirt flying you could hardly see the truck. I am thrilled with todays event's. I can not wait for February and the Daytona 500. Go Dale Jr and Robby Gordon! : )

No longer a visitor

Here is Amarri Brewster. He is the newest member of the family.

Lucky for us he likes racing too!

WOO HOO Racing is back! SCORE 2009

I can not tell you how much I have been looking forward to the return of racing. We just got home from day 1 of the SCORE Laughlin Nevada race. Robby Gordon raced in the 77 Monster energy drink Trophy Truck. He came in second today so we will have to hope for a little better tomorrow.

I know I don't look real happy here but that was because I didn't know I was having my picture taken. LOL. I have video but I still have to figure out how to put that on here.

We have a visitor

Friday afternoon my neighbors brought me a puppy that they found. We are looking for his owners but in the meantime we are sure enjoying the company.

Card of the month cards

These are my cards for the card of the month swap. If you are in the swap No Peeking! LOL

This is my violet with vellum. I embossed the vellum with the cuttlebug and then used perfect pearls on the dragonfly stamp.

This is aqua with alcohol inks. I used MS glitter for the stamped flower. I was covered in glitter for days,Here is my favorite black with bling. I used a cool textured black paper for the panels which are chalked and have rhinestones in the corners. The stamped image is embossed.

Thanks for looking!

3 more layouts

This first layout was incredible hard to finish. As everyone reading this knows last January was a very rough time for my family. When I first started this layout I was being very negative and then as I sat down and really thought about 2008 I realized that as hard as the year had been there were truly some good things. I have to thank all of my CFS mb friends for being there for me. I don't know that I could have made it through the year without all of you. You are all awesome! Hugs!

The next 2 layouts are much more fun. Bryce and Curt went fishing over the summer and these are the pictures. I am super happy with the way they turned out.

New Goals for a New Year Part 2

Here are 4 more layouts.

I really hope I find out how to take better pictures of pictures. LOL

New Goals for a New Year

I have made a commitment to complete 52 scrapbook layouts this year. We are only on day 2 and I have 9 finished so far. I am so far behind that even if I complete the 52 I will still have plenty to do. I am also hoping to learn how to take better pictures of my projects. Here are the layouts so far. This post is the first 5 layouts and the next post will be other 4.
